Welcome to the 2023 Bark and Wine Gala hosted by DLCC

The evening festivities will include a cocktail hour, dinner, program and live entertainment featuring the Act III Band
The program will feature four events:

  • A Heads & Tail Coin Toss: Battle it out with your friends and fellow attendees by purchasing an opportunity to win an amazing prize of over $250 in restaurant certificates. Once you purchase your "token ring" ($25) you will participate in an engaging and fun round of "Heads and Tails". The last one standing takes home the prize.
  • If you love beautiful jewelry, you won't want to miss the Champagne Jewelry Raffle. Purchase a glass of champagne with a lucky number ($50) and you will be in the drawing for a jewelry item valued at over $1000.
  • The Capital Area Humane Society will be presenting a touching video and sharing some special animal friends. You will have the opportunity to participate in funding the mission at CAHS to help animals in need.
  • The highlight of the evening will be the "Strut You Mutt Doggy Parade". Guests of the "Ultimate Doggy Spa" will be taking the spotlight and strutting down the runway.

Cheryl Fritze from Great Lakes News will be our host for an evening that promises to be a fun filled, give back to our community event!
The dog spa will be available for the first 20 dogs that register. The cost will be $50 per dog, and dogs MUST be registered to attend. Dogs will be assigned an individual dog sitter for the evening. They will go for walks on the course, and will be given lots of cuddles and snuggles while you enjoy your evening. They will also receive a PAWsh party bag full of goodies. Dogs attending the Ultimate Doggy Spa must be fully vaccinated, friendly to all people, and must get along with other dogs.

Cheryl Fritze is a radio news anchor for Great Lakes News Network, as well as a television commercial spokesperson, voice over artist and public speaker throughout the state of Michigan. Cheryl is a former evening news anchor, reporter and assignment editor at WLNS TV 6, the CBS affiliate in Lansing. Cheryl is the former co-host of 'The Morning Blend' on Fox 47, and radio talk show host of 'Fritze and Friends' on WILS, as well as co-host of 'The Michigan Gourmet' on WKAR. Cheryl has been called upon by the Ingham County Circuit Court to coordinate media for high profile trials. A graduate of Hillsdale College, Cheryl began her career in media as a disc jockey at WIBM in Jackson, Michigan.
